Jayne Hawkins -V.P.M
Jayne's focus in education was animal science. She obtained an associates of science from Vincennes University and attended one year at Purdue University all the while working for a large animal veterinarian in her home town, Indiana. In 1988, She moved to Georgia and began working with small animals. After spending several years in Marietta, she returned to Purdue to focus on a degree in Veterinary Management. She also, obtained a Veterinary Practice Management Certificate through AAHA and Purdue University.
She began her career at The Veterinary Clinic in January 1991 with Dr. Thad Riddle. He opened The Veterinary Clinic West in 1998 and she managed both practices. In January 2001, Dr. Mazza, Dr. Carder, Dr. Wilson and Jayne Hawkins officially signed ownership of the two hospitals.
"We have come from a staff of 10-15 mostly part-time people to a staff of 26 highly leveraged co-workers."
The Veterinary Clinic has a long history of students, career minded people, and volunteers to round out our group and support our goals.
